QUESTION I am constantly experiencing some kind of sorrow, I cannot figure out why – may be it is caused by the environment or something else.
I don’t know where I should be looking for an answer. Could you advise some reading or probably name an expert I could address?
By ‘healthy lifestyle’ I mean here the right direction and distribution of the life energy. And this needs to be done deliberately and consciously, not accidentally when you have a mood for it. In reality you have to demonstrate eagerness, will, persistence and consistency. For some people a problem under thorough consideration and a thought directed by eagerness might be enough, along with the actions to accept the problem and stop identifying with it. In other words there is an interaction of the three human consciousness compliments: power of will, power of thought and power of action.
There might be various roots for your sorrow. Among them is your nervous system or mental disorders caused by inappropriate decisions opposite to your nature.
Sometimes sorrow can be explained by your antecedent. A profound investigation of it might shed some light on the nature of your sorrow. If you look deeper, the reason for such sorrow is a soul, its striving to unification with the highest consciousness, the Spirit. This is the human love’s tendency to merge with the Divine. And you can see a light coming from people who have gained this unification.
Everything is no doubt possible in the human world. But don’t try to get instant results. Allow yourself to experience the joy of the human love. Sacrifice to the human world. This is what you wanted. And this world will give you a whole variety of feelings; will help you to discover your soul’s biggest mysteries. But this will be possible on a mutual basis only. Learn how to give love and care to the people around you and share their worries and hardships. The world needs your feedback and creative participation. It will thank you for that. Don’t be afraid of yourself, trust your life. But don’t try to get rid of the responsibility, no matter how heavy a burden it may appear to you.
I’m recalling a Christian parable about a cunning person.
A group of believers were travelling along a road. Each of them was carrying a cross on their shoulders. One of them thought his cross was too heavy for him. He was a cunning person. By going behind the group, he went into a forest and cut off a part of the cross. Being glad to have fooled the others, he caught up with them, and left them behind. But suddenly they reached a chasm on their way. Everybody just laid their long crosses over the chasm and went on their way further, while the cunning person could not do it because his cross was too short.
So, when you have felt a complete satisfaction or – fatigue and frustration – about your everyday life, and when you have understood that your consciousness is clear and transparent, and you did everything you could, then you’ll be ready to start work. Then you’ll be able to make a quantum leap right to the birth of an entirely new consciousness that will lead you to the highest substance of Being.
Don’t loose your opportunities; share your time and abilities in relationships. This is what you wanted to happen so much. Your desire has been noticed. And everything depends just on you. Don’t turn away a traveler knocking on your door. This might be a chance for you to pay off your debts, and someone might help you in this.
We are One Whole. And if you ever feel your role in it, you will free yourself of any hardships in the future. And you will get an understanding of your mission in this life and your sorrow will have to dissolve.
